Last week I called a friend of mine who is mother of four chlildren between 5 and 13. The actual time is very exhausting for her because every
child should work for school and needs support from her. She said to me: I am longing for having time for myself. On the other hand there is our friend who is more than 65 years old and can`t
have any direct contact. She misses people very much! What a cracy time: Some people are alone for several weeks and others have too much work and too many persons around them.
I hope that you dont`t have one of these extremes at the moment!

What are your innovations in this corona time? Have you got any creative ideas how to manage your daily life?
I tell you a little story how my sons an me have contact with an elderly person in this special time.
A friend who is like a grandmother for my kids lives in Langenthal. Because of her age we can’t meet her face to face at the moment. She lives in an apartment with a balcony on the first floor.
Several times a week we visit her: That means that the woman stands on her balcony and we spend time with her sitting on the grass (the newest is, that she gives a chair to me and throws the boys
two cushions), speaking, laughing and enjoying the sun together. My boys sometimes make a game like Uno or the black Peter or have their own ideas like jumping, wrestling and many more.
We also go shopping for her and of course hand her the full bags over the handrail (Geländer) of the balcony. Because she is alone and can’t meet anybody our visits are very important and make a
big change in this time of isolation for her.

What did you do in these two weeks of holidays? Did you enjoy the free time without any programme or was it boring?
In the meantime I was cleaning all the windows my two boys had very creative and funny ideas. They created ball pathes with many different kinds of material, wrote an invitation for me to look at
their show and also prepared a dessert with many sweeties for me.

Our retired neighbours went on a trip around the whole world a month ago. After they were on a big ship on the way from New Zealand to Hawaii they couldn’t stop in
any country because of the Corona virus. Today they arrived home – they had a very hard time on the ship and have never known how and when they would be able to come back to Switzerland.
Yesterday I sent them a message and asked what we should go shopping for them. This evening my boys put the bag with fresh food in the elevator and we phoned them: Open the lift – there you find
all the things you ordered. They were very happy about getting a warm bread and welcome greetings from us!
